My hayfever has been getting the better of me the past few days leaving me kinda sluggish and not wanting to do much with the kids....... and going outside is kinda off limits at this point with all the ragweed in full bloom...... ...so I decided to get the kids out of the house by taking them to the movies........what movie though?....they have been spoiled this summer with so many visits to the drive in that the only option was that CHIMP movie...... Jamie flatly refused to see it ...like he is too cool now for a general rated show even though he is only 8..hello...you are a kid.......but for Katie's sake...we all went....and you know its not a good sign when you walk into the theatre 10 minutes before the start time and your family is alone... yep the entire theatre to ourselves........and your middle child gives you the look...." the told you so "..look... ...brat...sticking out my tongue at him ..we sat down and endured the 82 minutes ....Jamie tried to escape a few times for a bathroom break and popcorn run...but I insisted he stay ..." you wouldn't want to miss any part of the movie son!".....LOL........and you know what ...he was right...the movie was kinda bad.....it had some funny one liners which can be seen in the trailer...so save your money....unless you are the "planet of the apes" kinda person who likes talking chimps who pilot to another planet saving aliens and becoming hero's to mankind.......you get the gist.........
