summer...ah that time of year to kick back by the pool, drinking a margarita and relaxing....NOT......with kids don't you find that you are all over the place and back again with activities....let's see...last night we went to family night at Camp Robin Hood ...Jamie was showing us around camp, introducing us to his counsellors and participating in some activites......his favorite....ARCHERY......today involved getting up early to get Jamie to the bus for camp then driving Justin and his best friend Carl up to Canada's Wonderland..a huge amusement and water park near Toronto...by 9:30 am Katie and I were left alone contemplating what to do until 5.............we had already had our pedicures the day before and went antique shopping so we decided to head to the Nascar park for some go cart racing.... let me tell you... that girl has a lead foot like her mother..she also is a great gambler...she hit the "mother load" jackpot on one game scoring 200 tickets in one spin...wish the boys could have seen her face when she won...LOL......so after 3 ( long) hours of enjoying rides and playing video games...we headed for ice cream and back to school shopping......yes wishful thinking on my part.......so I find myself back home to throw a few loads of wash in...make the beds and empty the dishwasher....only to leave shortly to pick up Jamie from the bus and run back to get Justin and his friend...I should be home by 7....oh vey...yes those lazy hazy days of summer.......
