Okay so tomorrow Justin starts camp....but this is not your typical day camp......it is ROCK BAND CAMP.........Justin has been taking guitar lessons for the past two years and his lessons school also runs a camp in the summer...he enjoyed last year's camp and decided to give it another go this year.......and besides what teenager doesn't want to jam with other band mates and goof off during the summer months...........the camp has daily workshops teaching the kids about the music industry including writing music, and promoting your band....for two weeks they practice daily with their group....they have to write a promotional blurb about themselves, come up with a band name and publish posters inviting people to come out to their final gig held at our local Fox and Fiddle bar...the show is spectacular with a stage performance, lights and sound system........can you believe we have to pay a cover charge to see our kid play!!... its a great learning experience though and Justin can't wait to go back tomorrow for round two.!.hey you never know...one day my kid may be the opening act for Nickleback or Coldplay....ROCK ON DUDE!
